    • Hi

Yes, they are certainly suitable for beginners. I had two beginners on a course yesterday. The main thing is to ideally have a lens of at least 200mm as it makes for better portraits. If you want to know anything else just ask. Thanks for the interest.

    • Hi Tom

There is some walking on uneven ground. Let me know what difficulties you may have any I can give you more of an idea. July’s workshop is in one location where everything is pretty close by – I’m sure we could accommodate you.

  1. Hi again Paul, I shall be interested in your Macro Workshop but not until next year. Can you keep me in touch? Kind regards. John Harrison.

  2. We are now in the 21st year that Malham Cove has attracted nesting Peregrine Falcons. If you want to photography something really exhilarating and witness a true wildlife spectacle, this wildlife photography workshop is definitely for you!

  3. Hi,

Can I double check the 2015 dates for this workshop please? e.g. the June date says Saturday 19th June, but the 19th is a Friday. Is this workshop on the Friday 19th or Saturday 20th please?

  4. Hello Paul,

My names Simon, I have just been working outside today, painting a house in the country and I believe ( I could be wrong but defiantly a big bird of prey) I have seen a honey buzzard over the past few days, and today it was being hassled by two crows, interesting to see!

I love my wildlife photography and it got me thinking it would be great to get the chance to photography birds of prey given the chance. I found your site and workshops on line and I was just wondering where you are actually based? I’m in south east Surrey myself. If you are reasonable local I may try and book a date for a course.

    Many thanks

    Simon Keslake

  7. Hi Paul
Been given £150 in gift vouchers to use on your courses. Do I still need to pay deposit or can I just email you image of vouchers with your signature once I’ve decided on course/s?
    Thanks in advance

  8. Hi Paul, in the hope that you’ll be running this trip in 2019, I would like to declare interest. Although my main reason for joining would be for the Wildlife in great settings, I would not want to miss landscape opportunities. Will there be chances to photograph any iconic scenery (not necessarily the most well known) such as waterfalls. Also if you have any further example images, love to see them. Regards Conrad

  11. Hi Paul,
I’ve been presented with a voucher as a birthday gift to photograph ‘Birds of Prey’ on the 13/04/2019. I assume you will get in touch nearer the time about the location etc therefore I thought it appropriate to drop you an e-mail so you have my contact details.
Really looking forwards to the day.

  12. Hi Paul,
I’m interested in your insects and macro workshop. Can you recommend accommodation as I will need to stay over.

    • Hi Michael. I am in Leeds. Most of my workshops are on the outskirts of Leeds and Castleford; a couple in the Yorkshire Dales. Just email me if you have any queries. All the best.

  13. Hi Paul,
I have watched you for many years. You are a bit far away from me I am in Norfolk. But I get up to the north a few times a year. I have a mobility problem and have a van to transport my 3 wheel Mobility Trike it’s a great asset to me & has opened up many new areas for me. I can actually sleep & eat in it. So I am still very independent, depending on the terrain. Norfolk is terrific for me as it’s pretty flat. I have a 1DX so your youtube site is very informative & I look forward to seeing your latest youtube when releases. Terrific work, well done.

  14. Paul was extremely helpful, and taught me a lot. I enjoyed my morning in Golden Acre Park with Paul and the various wildlife. A lesson with Paul is highly recommended!
