Could you let me know if the bird of prey course is suitable for a beginner .. Thanks
Yes, they are certainly suitable for beginners. I had two beginners on a course yesterday. The main thing is to ideally have a lens of at least 200mm as it makes for better portraits. If you want to know anything else just ask. Thanks for the interest.
I have just paid my deposit for the Summer Workshop 18th July 2014 via PayPal.
I will also complete the booking form and send it by email.
Best wishes. Martin
Thanks Martin. Look forward to meeting you.
I am slightly disabled would the course be suitable for me

There’s no better way to learn than shadowing a professional nature photographer for the day.
Can I double check the 2015 dates for this workshop please? e.g. the June date says Saturday 19th June, but the 19th is a Friday. Is this workshop on the Friday 19th or Saturday 20th please?
Sorry about that – it is Friday 19th June. Just let me know if you have any more questions.
Thank you for your prompt reply to my booking request.
This new workshop has been added for 2016. The perfect location for a mixture of woodland scenes and close up photography.
My names Simon, I have just been working outside today, painting a house in the country and I believe ( I could be wrong but defiantly a big bird of prey) I have seen a honey buzzard over the past few days, and today it was being hassled by two crows, interesting to see!
I love my wildlife photography and it got me thinking it would be great to get the chance to photography birds of prey given the chance. I found your site and workshops on line and I was just wondering where you are actually based? I’m in south east Surrey myself. If you are reasonable local I may try and book a date for a course.
Hi Paul. Is this suitable for enthusiastic amateurs?
Hi Lisa. Yes this is suitable for amateurs. You need to have a macro lens or extension tubes and be prepared for an early start!
Hi I am very interest in the next macro course on 7th Aug please can you email me the location as a 5:30am start is very early
Hi Steve. It may not start that early but if clear weather then it’s best. Meeting place will be Lin Dyke car park which is very close to Fairburn Ings nature reserve (WF10 2BH).

Hi Paul, in the hope that you’ll be running this trip in 2019, I would like to declare interest. Although my main reason for joining would be for the Wildlife in great settings, I would not want to miss landscape opportunities. Will there be chances to photograph any iconic scenery (not necessarily the most well known) such as waterfalls. Also if you have any further example images, love to see them. Regards Conrad
Hi Conrad. Thank for your interest in an Iceland Tour for 2019. I will email you later today with further informatoin. Best regards, Paul

What area in Yorkshire do you operate in please?
Hi Michael. I am in Leeds. Most of my workshops are on the outskirts of Leeds and Castleford; a couple in the Yorkshire Dales. Just email me if you have any queries. All the best.
Hi Paul are wkend halfday courses available thanks.
Yes, weekend half day courses available, depending on what subjects you would like to concentrate on.
I have watched you for many years. You are a bit far away from me I am in Norfolk. But I get up to the north a few times a year. I have a mobility problem and have a van to transport my 3 wheel Mobility Trike it’s a great asset to me & has opened up many new areas for me. I can actually sleep & eat in it. So I am still very independent, depending on the terrain. Norfolk is terrific for me as it’s pretty flat. I have a 1DX so your youtube site is very informative & I look forward to seeing your latest youtube when releases. Terrific work, well done.
Thank you for the support Ken. The van sounds good – I have thought of this myself! Norfolk looks wonderful – I really should get down there some time.
