Join me to learn the art of Bird Photography on this Beginners Photo Workshop
This Photography Workshop concentrates specifically on birds and the techniques required to capture them in camera. Working at a busy woodland feeding station in winter we’ll have plenty of opportunities to photograph small birds such as tits, finches, blackbirds and robins in a natural setting. We’ll also spend time at a small lake photographing ducks, geese and swans. The dates in early winter are chosen to coincide with good light… and potential snow!
“I was a bit nervous being basic amateurs but Paul was very patient, friendly and relaxed which put us both at ease. He explained things in a way we understood and ensured we got great shots.”
Birds are difficult subject to photograph; we’ll look at how to expose correctly and how to use the focusing modes and focus points to achieve sharp images – often the hardest part of bird photography! A digital SLR is advised with a minimum focal length of 300mm. Some bridge and mirror-less cameras are also suitable – please ask if unsure. The location is near to Leeds, West Yorkshire.
These Beginner Bird Photography Courses in Yorkshire can also be booked on a One to One basis or purchased as a Gift Voucher.
