Photograph stunning colours on this Autumn Woods Photography Workshop.
Autumn is without doubt one of the most photogenic times of the year, but with a short window for peak colours. This Photo Workshop in West Yorkshire is timed to coincide with leaves in colour, both on the trees and the woodland floor. Beech and Hazel are prominent throughout the woodland, providing a range of colour to work with. A stream also runs through the wood, along with bridges and an attractive weir.

Paul is clearly passionate about photography and wildlife. He’s enthusiastic yet very calm and patient while teaching. Paul is also constructive with his advice; he will look at your composition and advise you on how to improve …
We will put many techniques into practice: using wide angle lenses for woodland scenes and picking out attractive compositions with longer lenses. Changing viewpoint for maximum impact is also key as is using the light effectively. There will also be a chance for colourful macro images. Down by the water provides good opportunities to use slow shutter speeds and create abstract photos. This workshop is suitable for all levels, from complete beginner to experienced photographer. The location is near to Skipton, West Yorkshire.
Please note: there will be some walking on uneven ground and around 3 miles in total. Lunch is not included so bring something with you to keep you going.
